CLAY SIGG is a senior vice-president & the managing broker of the Fair Oaks Office of Lyon Real Estate, which has produced over $4,000,000,000 in Total Dollar Volume under his supervision since 1987.
Clay is a past president of the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® (SAR) and has been honored as Sacramento’s “REALTOR® of the Year.” He is a published real estate author and an instructor for SAR’s Real Estate Training Institute (RETI). Clay is a life member and past president of the SAR Masters Club.
Clay served as an elected member of the SAR Board of Directors for thirteen years while chairing dozens of formal disciplinary and arbitration tribunals. He continues to perform as an expert witness and consultant in real estate standard of practice litigation and has earned three national designations- CRB® (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager), CRS® (Certified Residential Specialist) and ePRO.
Clay has been a California Association of REALTORS® (CAR) State Director for over two decades. His work at CAR includes membership on the Executive Committee, as well as stints as Region 3 Chairman, Professional Standards Committee Chairman, Legal Affairs Forum Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Strategic Planning & Financing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Legal Action Trustees. He has been active as an NAR Director and has been the CAR Federal District 4 Political Coordinator for Congressman John T. Doolittle and now Congressman Tom McClintock since 1998. He is an appointed CAR Interboard Arbitrator and is a California “Golden R” designee.
Clay holds a bachelors degree from the University of California at Davis. He is an inductee of the UC Davis Baseball Hall of Fame as a center fielder, as well as the Sacramento Men's Senior Baseball League Hall of Fame. Clay has been awarded the designation of “Distinguished Toastmaster”, the highest honor that Toastmasters International bestows. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Positive Coaching Alliance and has been active in charitable efforts supporting groups such as the Sacramento Children’s Home, Sacramento Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Sacramento Christmas Can Tree.
Clay and his wife Sandra live in Granite Bay, California and are proud of their three children- Nicole, Julia and Anthony. He is a native Californian born in Los Angeles.
